If your wardrobe is in need of the perfect summer LBD, one that can be worn anywhere from around the house to a day at the beach, look no further than (THIS) racerback rib-knit midi-length tank dress.
From Prologue at Target, I found this dress to run true to size, bra-friendly with a look and feel of being more expensive than it is. Also available in brown, in Regular Size (HERE) and Plus Size (HERE), at $19.99, whatcha got to lose? See how I style her 10 different ways in this week’s LIVE FROM MY CLOSET style party video.
Today’s Video Shout-Outs and Links:
About The Sarong
During today’s style party, I showed you how I wear a sarong over my tank dress. I think (THIS) Leopard sarong from Banana Republic would look fabulous over a knit black dress. Currently on sale ($34.00) and available in a Zebra print (HERE), imagine her tied over the black tank dress, OR as a scarf with the dress. Whether you call it a sarong, a pareo or a beach cover-up, it packs up neatly into a little pouch so you can fold it up, toss it in your travel bag and go. A summer must-have! Note: discount on BR sarong’s are applied at checkout
Sarong Styling Ideas: Wrap it around the waist as a skirt, cross the ends and tie it at the neck like a halter dress, or use it as an impromptu scarf on your travels.
As mentioned in today’s styling video, any of these fab pieces (most now on sale) from Banana Republic would work beautifully back to your favorite black summer dress and so much more! The current BR promo (5/28/20) takes an additional 40% off regular price items | extra 50% off sale – discount taken at checkout.
THE lace back bralette (now on BOGO), fab bags, statement sunnies and more fab finds from Target:
Kimono Love:
I am loving Kimono’s right now, a piece that just happens to look great styled over a summer LBD or with jeans and a graphic tee. Available at every price, the key to finding YOUR kimono love is discovering a print that speaks to you. For more on kimonos, I invite you to stop back this Monday for an all-new Stylish Monday Kimono LInk-Up Party. And until then, here are a few kimonos that caught my eye this week from Anthropologie and Nordstrom Rack.

Hi Eva! What a fun idea! I mean they are a basic rectangle. find a print or vintage is even better and there you go! Yes, Sarongs are making a comeback and being worn in so may fun ways beyond the pool. It is hot here, but Im sure it is not as hot as where you are. Today we got a break in the heat so I am going to do some gardening – tomorrow we might get some rain, yay! Have a wonderful weekend and thanks for stopping by! xx
Hi Suzanne,
I bought both sarongs and a silk camisole.!! thanks a million.
So Lynn, this is so funny! When I saw those sarongs, I immediately thought of you and your friends. I tried to call you this AM to let you know they were on promo, but didn’t get you – but you’d already been shopping! I can’t wait to see what they look like live. Thanks for stopping by! Happy Friday! xx
Oh wow, Suzanne! I love all the fun things you did with your sarong. I have a whole bunch of sarongs and large scarves that I could do the same with. I need to try some of these! Thanks for sharing and linking up.
