Today’s style round-up includes looks from 8 of my kimono rocking insta-friends/40+ bloggers, here to inspire you to dust off your kimono and try something new. I love how Andy of Pearls and Pantsuits dressed up her graphic tee and jean look by adding a leopard print kimono. Emma of The Style Splash got creative with pieces in her closet; styling a swimsuit coverup back to her bold pink trousers, for a sophisticated summer look, and Nancy of Nancy’s Fashion Style repurposed a wrap dress as a kimono. By the end of today’s post, you’ll see there are endless ways to wear a kimono. I’ve found the key to discovering true ‘kimono love’, is finding that perfect print and style that speaks to you. Fabrication, print, and style matter, so take the time to find a piece that is truly “you”.
Today’s post includes a link-up, meaning there’s even more style to browse! I invite you to link up YOUR blog posts and outfits at the bottom of today’s post. I find myself wearing kimonos now more than ever, as a replacement to my trusty jean jacket or long cardigan. Over the past few months, I’ve added 3 to my collection. Here’s a look at how I styled 4 very different pieces, over this past month.
