Thank you for making 2016 a year to remember!
Top Outfits of the Year.
I find it interesting, my personal favorite looks, were not necessarily the top looks on my Instagram feed (we’ll take a look at my top Instagram Posts for 2016 below). When I look back over the year, I selected my favorite looks based on how I felt the day I wore the outfit. Days I felt confident, comfortable, unique, and put together…those were my top picks for the year.
Favorite Outfits
This vintage, circa 1960’s Gallant Paris coat, made be oh-so-happy!
Playing hostess on Christmas Day, I was comfortable and cool, in an unexpected combo of a dark floral blazer, graphic tee, and mermaid skirt.
Statement accessories, added a punch to this sweater knit Moschino LBD, for a winter Cocktail Party.
One of my best thrift finds ever, this pink tweed jacket was a $11.00 score at Goodwill!
Another unexpected outfit combo, I loved how this outfit came together, for a night out in LA.
This DVF wrap dress, reminds me that it is important to have some color in my life!
This black dress is actually a skirt, and boy is it comfortable.
Paired with my favorite Paul Green lace-up sandals and utility jacket, I loved the mix of texture and style.
I wore this dress all summer long- from the pool with kids to dinner out in Hawaii – it is perfect for hot California summers.
The power of black…and a pair of great shoes!
A go-to look for work, simple and chic.
My 3 favorite cashmere pieces.
These pieces have been remixed time and time again this FW16 Season.
Only in Vegas, but this snake jumpsuit was perfect for a weekend get away!
A day in the life, I have worn this tie front sweater dress for work, play and evening.
Simple, yet put together…even in a bathroom selfie!

My Personal Favorite Looks
As you can see, there is some cross over in what my Insta Gals loved, and what I loved…but there is a difference as well. Goes to show, something may be super cute…but if you aren’t feeling like your best self in the look, you won’t love it. And, style is super personal. Magazines and media cannot make us feel our best-selves, only we can!
For 2017, grab a hold of all that great inspiration (there’s a ton out there to be had!), and make it your own!

2017 GOALS
In addition, to continuing to provide a fun space for us to meet and share here on AskSuzanneBell.com twice a week, I’d like to add more DIY, Life Style, and Informational Style Posts, using knowledge gleaned from my past experience as a retail executive and buyer for Nordstrom Inc. Second, as many of you know, I spend a large amount of my days involved in homes and real estate. I would like to find an avenue to share some of these fun experiences with you here on the blog. Last, it would appear I am not alone, in my love for vintage and second hand fashion. I sense a shift in how we shop these days, and I hope to share my passion and tips finding your own unique style through shopping second hand, in 2017. Stay tuned and we’ll see where this takes us!
And a big thank you to my readers, for continuing to tune in each week, and for making this such a fun space to share, learn and grow. I also want to thank my wonderful family, for taking countless photos, retaking the bad ones, and making me laugh along the way. For putting up with late night editing, and supporting me on so many levels, that I cannot possibly list them all here.

Your blog is an inspiration to me daily. I have had access to clothing items and purchased them that I wouldn’t have without you. You inspire me to want to look “Good” when I go downtown or to walk my dogs! You are inspiring and generous in your vision and your “secrets”. You are a delight! Thank you for 2016!
Hi Susan and Happy New Year! Thank you for your kind words and continued support! I’m happy you find inspiration in the weekly posts here on the blog…here’s to a fabulous 2017! XO

Hi Gail! It actually looks fine, I think that is how my site works, wierd, I agree! Need to look into that for 2017 🙂 Yes, I do love that coat, such a classic. It was AMAZING to me the condition, after 50+ years, still in mint condition. One of the reason I love thrifting, it’s difficult to find that kind of quality these days! Happy 2017 and thanks for stopping by! xx
Always gorgeous, you! I think the pink tweed jacket is a favorite of mine. Happy new year!, xo

Thank you Patti! I too love that pink tweed jacket! Funny part was, I had been on the hunt for a pink tweed (open to any price, because I could not find one I liked) and lo and behold, there is was, $11.00 at my local goodwill! Happy 2017~ xx
Love your style! I am new to blogging and a new realtor as well. nice to see all of the combinations you put together.
Hi Debbie! How fun that we have blogging and Real Estate in common! I’ll have to pop on over and check out your site! Congratulations, and thank you for stopping by! xx
