The perfect pairing,
coffee and animal print.
When your day begins with a great friend, and your pretty coffee matches your outfit – you know it’s going to be a good one!
I’ve always loved animal print. In fact, I think I may have a problem. A good problem. I have collected so many fun pieces over the years, the challenge is, deciding which piece I want to wear on a given day – then working my outfit around it. For me, animal print is not only a neutral – it’s a necessity. A must have. A fun animal print, makes me happy.
One of my favorite fall pieces, has to be the ‘Berit’ cardigan, from Joie. An investment, I was thrilled when I was able to pick it up on sale over at Nordstrom. Sold out at Nordstrom (though I have seen a few floating around Nordstrom Rack, for $159.90), the ‘Berit’ cardigan is available at Saks ($238.90, HERE) and Bloomingdales ($298.50, HERE). It still appears to be full price over at Neiman’s and Bergdorf’s. Note: the newer version of this sweater may have a bit more camel color in it than mine.

Guess who else, loves an animal print cardi?
Meet Susan Kanoff, The Midlife Fashionista
One of the perks of blogging, is meeting other style bloggers – from around the world. I met Susan on Instagram. Boston area wardrobe stylist and style blogger, I think of Susan as my “style sister”. We’ve never met in person, yet we are drawn to so many of the same pieces and looks. And, I adore her style. I loved when she sent me this photo, of how she styled up her ‘Berit’ cardigan, I had to share.
I know, she’s darling, right?

Hi Suzanne,
I’ve been reading fabulous blog for a while! thanks for putting together such informative blog out there:)
I haven’t shopped for belts for a while but noticed that all the new jeans are so stretch, which is great but create a new problem: they fall off! what’s your RECOMMENDATIONS for belts? would like to buy one ot two investment piece…
Thanks,
Sherry
Hi Sherry! Thanks for stopping by and I’m happy to hear that you enjoy readying AskSuzanneBell! I have 3 belts that I keep in rotation,#1 is the BeltAway – in fact I just ordered a new one last night because I cant find mine and my jeans are falling down! I use the BeltAway when I plan to UNTUCK tops – which is often! Keeps my pants up and there is no belt buckle popping out. I get mine at Amazon,https://www.amazon.com/Beltaway²-BUCKLE-Adjustable-Belt-Black/dp/B00SXA4T42/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1477364166&sr=8-1&keywords=beltaway+belt – Many AskSuzanneBell readers LOVE this belt (only $20.00). FOr an investment belt, I have one I purchased years ago at Badichi, https://www.badichibelts.com. I Love this place because you can customize your belt any way you like. I don’t see the buckle I have online. I always pay this shop a visit when I am in NYC – the inventory in the store is huge! I also like Michael Kors Belts, Tory Burch and Ralph Lauren. Hermes and GUcci for $$$. Nordstrom has a great selection, I just spotted this one which is a nice classic belt for under $50! http://shop.nordstrom.com/s/halogen-oval-buckle-leather-belt/4402845?fashionColor=Black. THis one is fun as well, http://shop.nordstrom.com/s/hinge-grommeted-suede-belt/4356425?origin=category-personalizedsort&fashioncolor=COGNAC Happy Shopping! xx

Love the cardigan, yes, but i also adore the cargo vibe of your skirt. So cool. i had one in black when i was a teenager and practically wore it every single day 🙂
Thank you Sheela! Isn’t it fun how these pieces make a comeback? If only I hung onto some of those fun pieces from the 80’s and 90’s – the accessories alone! Thanks for stopping by! xx Suzanne
