I’m a Style Curator with over 40 years in fashion, a retired Nordstrom executive turned real estate agent at COMPASS (DRE#01422075), and business colleagues with my husband, Rick Bell. I’m also a passionate style blogger, helping women 40+ feel confident and fabulous every day by blending joy and practicality in style. With a focus on sustainable fashion and a “shop less, style more” approach, I aim to inspire women to dress for where they are in life, look amazing, and feel like their best selves.

After spending 16 years as an executive at Nordstrom Inc., I retired in 2003 to pursue a career in real estate in the heart of Silicon Valley. Although it was a difficult decision to leave the fashion industry, I quickly embraced the flexibility and freedom that came with being my own boss.

AskSuzanneBell launched in 2014 as a passion project and creative outlet. A people person, I love helping others achieve their goals—whether it’s finding the home of their dreams or curating a closet filled with pieces you love. To me, personal style is more than clothing; it’s a reflection of who we are at our core and how we confidently present ourselves to the world.

Great style is for everyone—at any age, on any budget! I believe in the power of style to uplift, whether it’s through a fabulous pair of shoes or a swipe of lip gloss. As an avid thrifter, I share tips for finding designer treasures at second-hand prices, with favorites like ThredUp and Poshmark making sustainable fashion easy from home.
