Whenever I’m in need of a beauty pick-me-up I head on over to the Nordstrom Beauty Department. Between the great selection and fabulous customer service, it’s my go-to. Last week, on a mission to replace my Laura Mercier BB Cream, and in need of a “fresh look” for my eyes, I ran into the Stanford Nordstrom in Palo Alto. As much as I like my Laura Mercier BB Cream (read my review on Laura Mercier in Summertime Beauty Essentials | HERE), I was looking for something with a bit more coverage for everyday – but not as much as I get from my Dior Skin FOREVER Foundation (HERE). I had taken home a few samples from Dior and Armani earlier in the month, which I was OK with, but not thrilled. While poking around, I heard someone call my name, and turn to see one of my co-workers from back my Nordstrom days – 25 years ago back-in-the-day, Jackie Ngo. The same amazing gal as ever, we chatted a bit, I told her what I was after, and she invited my on over to her Lancome counter to check out what was new. It had been awhile since I had used Lancome, so Jackie set me up. 30 minutes later, I had a new look for my eyes – day and night, along with my new favorite BB cream, concealer and eye cream.
