Comfortable. Chic. Easy to Wear. Let’s talk Chambray!
From dresses and tops, to jackets, pants, shoes and accessories; this easy care, easy wear classic is having a big moment. It makes sense. Like our favorite denim jacket, chambray works back to just about anything. Whether you chose to wear it head-to-toe or paired with white bottoms like I did here today – think of this classic as a fresh neutral piece, one that will breathe life back into items you already own in your closet.

Back in April, while co-hosting a shopping event at Trina Turk Burlingame with Kim from Northern California Style, I discovered the Concord Top (HERE), and knew I had to have it. I rarely pay full price for anything, but this piece has proved to be worth every penny! The tie can be worn multiple ways and the open back adds something unexpected when you leave the room. White jeans, metallic wedges and a kimono that easily stuffs into my market bag; makes for an easy everyday look. A pendant necklace and multi-strand bracelet complete the look.

Those lightweight kimonos are scarves for summer. Can’t have too many and they just fold up till needed. Just Right With dresses , pants or you name it. They hardly take up any closet space. Poolside to dinner . Perfect accessory! The one in your outfit just maKes it so cute and personal. !!!
So true! I hadn’t thought of the summer kimono = winter scarves idea, but you are so right! Like you said, pair it with dresses, pants, even swimwear – easy to pack and adds a pop to any outfit! THis ones is one of my favorites that doubles as a swim cover up as well! xx

Suzanne I love this top on you and with the cute white pants and kimono it’s ADORABLE. I need one of those kimonos and I love your choices below. I totally agree chambray is one of my go-tos here in California. I like mixing it up and wearing it with white, khaki and black too. The nice thing is it is soft and an easy piece to travel with as it pairs well with so much! I am going to get some of those jeans.. This is the perfect summer outfit! xx Kim
