My style journey over the past year has been quite a learning experience for me, filled with self-reflection and experimentation with my wardrobe. Amidst this exploration, a realization dawned upon me – the key to a truly stylish life lies not in accumulating more clothes but in cultivating more ideas. The incessant influence of fashion trends through social media has left me fatigued, prompting a desire for a shift. This week, while tuning into one of my favorite style podcasts, the phrase “less buy, more style” resonated with me. This simple yet profound mantra became the catalyst for reigniting my passion for blogging, about all things style. In a world inundated with fashion influencers and ever-changing trends, I’ve concluded that our closets are already treasure troves of possibilities. We possess everything we need to feel our best daily, waiting patiently on hangers within our reach. It’s time to appreciate and maximize the potential of our existing wardrobe, prioritizing creativity over consumption. Here’s to a renewed commitment to buying less, styling more, and a journey towards sartorial self-expression. I’m delighted that you’re here.

NEW on ASB: This Month On My Rail

What is on my rail, what I wore, suzanne bell style series As part of this new series on the blog, on the first and third Monday of each month,  I’ll shop my closet, and then share, each of the items I selected  On My Rail (PRESS HERE FOR THIS WEEKS VIDEO), to style for the week ahead.  I am not committing to a certain number of items, as I find capsule wardrobes, to be quite confining. I also believe in not limiting one’s accessories and shoe options, as these pieces make fashion fun! Embracing my passion for uplifting others to exude confidence and embrace their best selves, I’ll then share a selection of my outfits every other Monday here on ASB. Join me as I share insights, reflections, and style tips to inspire your fashion journey.
