This on-going gloomy weather, has me digging deep into the closet for new looks. More than any other year, I’ve had to get super creative with layering, simply to stay warm. Working with my favorite wardrobe pieces, this week I layered a Joie animal print blouse under my Love Moschino Sweater Dress, which I purchased second hand from ThredUp, to wear to a winter cocktail party last year.

A dress that can be worn for a festive evening out, dressed down for a casual day at work, to picking the kids up at school? Now, that’s a winner in my book!
Let’s Remix!
Today, I added a belt in lieu of a necklace – both would be too much going on.
My favorite tights (read more on Assets Tights from Target, in this post HERE), tall boots and this cozy bell sleeve sweater coat by Cynthia Vincent, finish off this everyday, anywhere look.
How’s that for versatility?

So clever Suzanne! Your dress looks like a completely different piece of clothing in each style remix. talk about getting mileage from a closet!!
Thank you Helen! I do love to remix pieces. Here in Northern California, I layer alot – I am always cold!! I take it as a personal challenge to see how many ways I can wear a piece in my closet! Thanks for stopping by! XOXO
