Dry, itchy, and irritated. That’s my skin talking. Why I let things get to this point, I’m unsure. Like with facial products, when your regular program stops working for you, it’s time to switch things up.
This month, I tested out a few new products, all available at your local drugstore or Amazon.com. I’m only sharing the ones I really liked, so if you are looking to mix things up a bit, why not treat yourself!
When my body lotion refuses to sink in and hydrate, I know it’s time to exfoliate!
Salux Nylon Japanese Beauty Body Towel | Amazon (HERE)
This multi-tasker gets the job done. It lathers up far more than my regular sponge. Hold it horizontally, and you can scrub your backside to your hearts content. Get the 3-pack. As soon as my kids and husband used mine, they claimed the extras as theirs!
Pure Body Naturals Himalayan Salt & Sweet Almond Pink Scrub | Amazon (HERE)
Looking for a replacement for the very pricey (but fabulous) FRESH Brown Sugar Body Scrub, I gave this salt scrub a try. It’s less oily than most body scrubs, and does a great job exfoliating. Priced at $13.95, it gets the job done!
Loreal Pure Clay Masque | Amazon (HERE)
Available in 3 different formulas – read each description, to find the best formula for your own needs.
3 Pure Clays and Charcoal
Deep Cleanses and Captures Impurities
Energizes Dull Skin and Brightens
Evens Skin Tone
EXFOLIATE AND REFINE PORES (HERE)
3 Pure Clays and Red Algae
Exfoliates Dead Skin Cells
Unclogs and Tightens Pores
Reduces Surface Flaws
3 Pure Clays and Eucalyptus
Absorbs Impurities and Unclogs Pores
Refreshes and Soothes Skin
Reduces Excess Shine
Tempted to order all 3, I went with the Charcoal Mask – which I love! This works like other more expensive masks I’ve used, with great results.
Only downside, it made a mess of my white wash cloth.
But how cute are these?

Jergen’s Wet Skin Moisturizer | Amazon (HERE)
Great for gals on the run. You apply this moisturizer BEFORE you dry off. No more waiting for your moisturizer to sink in before you get dressed. Yes it works. Yes it moisturizes. Yes it drys instantly.
Palmer’s Cocoa Butter Formula | Amazon (HERE)
A girlfriend of mine gave me this miracle product to try. I rub it on my feet and hands at night, then cover my feet with a pair of cozy soft socks. Come morning, everything is nice and moisturized! My kids took my socks, along with the Salux washcloths!
Dr. Teals Lavender Epsom Salts | Soothe and Sleep Bath Minerals | Amazon (HERE)
On recommendation from one of my yoga instructors, create your own home spa with a relaxing epsom salt bath. Also available in Euculyptus. Great before bed, for a good night sleep!

Here’s a few of my favorite lip, and body scrubs.
How do you replenish your skin in the winter?
Do you take time out, to heal your winter skin?
Do you find time to create a little of your own sunshine, when the skies are dark, cold and gloomy?
How do you #TreatYourSelf?

I love an epsom salt bath. I’ll have to give the Heals Softens a try.
Happy Saturday & Stay Dry!
Hi Andrea! Agreed, an epsom bath works wonders! The Heals Softens is great if you get dry feet and hands. Mine are always worse in the wintertime! XO Suzanne
