When blogger pal Kim Wheeler of Northern California Style asked if I would like to head up to Burlingame to check out Trina Turk’s new spring line, of course I said yes. Sign me up, let’s make a morning of it!
So What’s Happening at Trina Turk?
NOTE: This event has been postponed to a later date…details coming soon!
Here’s the scoop. Kim and I are excited to announce that we will be hosting a shopping day at the Trina Turk Burlingame location Wednesday, March 21 from 10:30am – 1pm. A few weeks ago, we spent a few hours previewing the new spring line, so that we could see how some of the items fit prior to next weeks event. Kim and I tried on so many pieces and I have to say, there was so much to love. If you have an event coming up, there were many beautiful dresses to choose from. I loved all the gingham and stripe pieces, ruffles and statement sleeves. Trina Turk just makes me happy with her colorful prints and easy to wear styles. If you live locally, we would love for you to come join us. Kim and I will be at the boutique to assist in finding something you love, plus all guests that morning will receive 20% off their full price purchase! What will we be wearing? Stop in next week to see what outfits we picked out and how we style them. Until then, here’s a peek at a few of the items we tried on. And when you’re done window shopping here, I encourage you to hop on over and visit Kim at Northern California Style for more dressing room and store reviews!
Dana and her team who work at this Trina store are very helpful ladies and know what looks great. If you can’t make our event, do visit them sometime. The store itself is a modern gem- beautifully designed and always a joy to see what they have from this California designer. You can find more of the spring collection on the Trina Turk site. Also, Kim wrote a fabulous article, Trina Turk’s Desert Home Style a few years ago, if you’s like to read it I’ve linked it for you HERE!

Dressing Room Fun!
The Glitterati 2 Dress is a flattering v-neck tunic dress that is chic and easy in 100% silk crepe de chine.
The Anissa Dress
One of my favorite silhouettes from Trina Turk, the Anissa Dress is the ultimate in bohemian chic for spring! In a great neutral shade of olive, this silk georgette tunic dress features flowy sleeves, a bold gold embellished neckline and a loose, easy fit that’s perfect for your casual weekend and getaway style. I loved the stripe/floral combo as well, with dolman sleeves, the vibrant floral blooms pop set against a classic black and white background. I could picture this dress dressed up or down. Lose the slip and wear it as a poolside cover-up! I love pieces that give me options.
Love puffy sleeves? Try the Fiona Top paired with the stripe Netti Pant!
Parsley Pant paired with the reversible Tamika 3 Top
Kim is wearing the Winnie Dress, a v-neck shift features fashionably forward bell sleeves for feminine flair. I am wearing the Asteria Dress. Dress her up or down, I love the flattering v-neckline and slit sleeves to show a bit of skin.
We hope you can come join the fun next Wednesday!
Kim and I will be at the Trina Turk Boutique 3/21 from 10:30-1pm. Come enjoy sips, bites and 20% off your full price purchase!
The Trina Turk Boutique is located at 1223 Burlingame Ave in beautiful Burlingame, California 94010
