I am not a brand-loyal shopper. I shop everywhere from consignment shops and Target to Nordstrom and small boutiques, and when it comes to beauty products, I buy and use what works for me. I splurge on my favorites; products such as Dior lip maximizer plumping lip gloss, Orbie (strong) super fine hair spray, and Laura Mercier Illuminating Powder (read more here), but something about a fab drug-store find makes me feel all sparkly inside.
5 Under $20 Beauty Finds
There are quite a few drugstore brands, that to me are all as good as pricier department-store products. Brands such as Cerave, Boots 07 (skincare), and Cetaphil deliver fantastic skincare products at a fraction of the price. Below you’ll find 5 drugstore beauty products that are currently in my beauty routine. And once you check out what I’ve got to share, I encourage you to pop on over to Pearls and Pantsuits, Fashion Trends and Friends, and Sharing a Journey and learn about 15 more, under $20 beauty finds, curated by the Coast to Coast Style Collective. That’s right, 20 curated beauty finds, all under $20!
Five Drug Store Beauty Finds I’m Using Right Now
1. Cetaphil Healthy Radiance Antioxidant -C Serum | $19.59 | Target
After spending some time looking for a skin brighter treatment serum for my dull winter skin, I reached out to my pals in the Coast to Coast Style Collective and was recommended to try this Antioxidant – C Serum by Andy, who said her daughter-in-law had seen great results with it. I’ve been using it for a month, and I will say my skin is brighter and more radiant. It reminds me of a pricier Vitamin C Serum I used years ago – with the same results. I plan to keep using this as I am happy with the results so far.
2. Maybelline Great Lash Clear Mascara | $5.99 | Target
It’s important to note that I do not use this product as intended; I use it as a brow gel. After trying many more expensive brands, this is my go-to for taming my brows. It keeps stray hairs in place and doesn’t flake throughout the day.
3. Neutrogena Hydro Boost $3.29 |Target
Featuring hyaluronic acid that is found naturally in skin & helps maintain the skin’s essential moisture, this sheet mask delivers much-needed moisture to my dry skin. I’ve used this mask for years, and it continues to be a favorite, something I have on hand in my beauty case at all times.
4. Tree Hut Sugar Scrub in Coco Colada | $7.99 | Target
I discovered this wonderful-smelling sugar scrub when my daughter left a jar of it in my shower when she went back down to college. This scrub smells and performs better than many more expensive scrubs, I now keep a jar of it in my shower at all times. The coco colada scent is my personal favorite – like a tropical vacation – but if you’d like to browse all scents, PRESS HERE.
5. Batiste Dry Shampoo | $7.99-$12.99 | Target
A dry shampoo removes oils, and provides added hair texture and volume, allowing you to often go days in between shampooing. When used as directed, your hair will look fresh and fuller – a must-have in my hair-care routine.
So why Batiste? I’ve tried MANY MANY dry shampoos, all the way up to a $48 product by Orbie, and at the end of the day, Batiste is the best value and works. I find it leaves no residue and doesn’t dry out my scalp. Available in a variety of scents and colors – I use “brunette” – for the price, you can try a travel size for yourself and see what you think.

Hi Suzanne,
Wow, what a great list. I will be trying most of these products. Thanks!
Yay, happy to hear you found some products to try. Hopefully, you were able to hop over to the other 3 blogs as there are some great items on their lists as well. Thanks for stopping by and let mw know if these work for you! xx Suzanne
Hi Suzanne,
I love your list of must have products under $25! The body scrub and the hydro boost have peeked my interest! I’ll definitely have to check them out! It’s so fun to see what everyone is recommending and why!

I love that body scrub, reminds me of being on vacation somewhere tropical! funny, my son said his skin was dry last night, so he grabbed my last hydro-boost mask, he said it was great!
Umm. Excuse me ma’am! But using inexpensive clear mascara as a brow gel is genius! I never would have thought of that. On my way to CVS! Thanks for the tip! I knew I’d glean valuable info from this collab. You rock!
Hi Andy! Sounds crazy, but it works better than any other pricey brow gel IMO. the first time I bought it, I thought it was brow gel because I never heard of clear mascara. After using it for years, I finally discovered it’s actually mascara, LOL. Loved all of your picks, this was such a great round up of fab products! xx
Love your lists, Suzanne! I went out and got the serum (love it!) and the dry shampoo (Tropical). I also picked up a NYX lingerie lip color – unfortunately it was the wrong one – liquid lip color – but I really like it, too. Just ordered a “push up” from Amazon! You’re so good!
Hi Trish, that serum is just the best! I’ve been using it for a month, and my skin is smoother and more even toned. Happy you found some great products, I love collaborating with these ladies because they always have great products. Thanks for stopping by!
