Welcome to “Everything Wore Last Week,” where I’m sharing five outfits I put together over the past week. Trust me, I definitely don’t have it all figured out, but I thought it’d be fun to show you how I’ve been styling some of my favorite pieces. The goal here isn’t perfection—just finding inspiration and making the most of what’s already in your closet. I’ll break down each look, explain why certain pieces work together, and throw in a few tips to make it easy to swap things out to fit your own vibe. You’ll see everything from casual, laid-back outfits to more pulled-together looks, so there’s a little something for everyone. Most of what I’m wearing are closet staples, but if something is current or I can find a similar piece, I’ll link it for you. Hopefully, this gives you a little inspo for your own wardrobe and helps you mix up your outfits for the week ahead!

Sunday

IRO lace top (vintage) | track pants (similar) | Vince silver mule (similar in silver and red)
This afternoon, I hosted an open house with Rick at our newest listing (check it out here!). With temps soaring, I needed to look polished without the help of my usual blazer. I also wanted to stay comfortable, so I dressed up my Sweaty Betty track pants—yup, pull-on nylon knit track pants!—with a vintage lace IRO tunic. Silver mules added a bit of elevation, and the calf hair tote brought in some contrast and texture. A long pendant added a touch of luxury. As for the Eyebob readers—they weren’t part of the look, but I forgot to take them off!

Tuesday

dress, similar , similar long sleeve version| utility jacket, similar on sale | Ann Mashburn sandal
Tired of wearing jeans and my go-to RUTI skirt, I dug out this Michael Stars dress from my “purgatory bins” for another scorching hot day. With plans to be out and about, popping in and out of A/C, and a lunch date on the calendar, the relaxed utility jacket was perfect for indoors, while the sleeveless dress kept me cool the rest of the day. The bag, a purchase from a trip to Florence, always brings back fond travel memories.

Wednesday

L'Agence ALicent WIde leg jeans, Citizens of Humanity Kayla Shirt
jeans | oversized shirt | tank | shoes | cap (similar)
After walking my dog, I had errands to run, so I decided to change out of my joggers. I have a few oversized shirts that work as light jackets when worn over a tank—perfect for tying around my waist when the afternoon heats up. Paired with these super comfortable jeans and sandals, I feel more put together than in my morning workout wear.

Thursday

everything I wore last week, ribbed knit midi skirt, stripe sweater, sneakers
Half zip stripe sweater, similar, (under $60 here), (here), (here) | J Crew lady vest, I like this season’s updated version, now on promo, Barn Vest (here)  bag, same color in nylon, same bag in black, navy and taupe |, similar skirt in ribbed knit under $70
It was one of those days that started off with promise but just wasn’t going my way—even down to what I had planned to wear. This outfit was at least my fifth attempt to get out the door, all while telling myself time was ticking, and I needed to move on. I just couldn’t get into a groove—do you ever have days like that? Anyway, feeling defeated, the last thing I wanted was uncomfortable clothing, so I finally settled on this all-knit outfit that felt cozy, like being wrapped in a warm blanket, which suited my mood. This sweater is a bit cropped on me, so I added a quilted vest for length and some polish. Normally, I’d pair booties with this, but sneakers were more comfortable. My favorite orange Longchamp tote always lifts my spirits, so I threw everything in it and finally got on with my day.

Friday

vince suede jacket, what I wore last week
Vince suede jacket, similar, similar color | ATM tank top | exact jeans, newest version | Same bootie, different color, love this one from Veronica Beard | belt | Loro Piana vintage bag | necklace
Heading out to meet a friend for drinks and dinner, I wanted to take advantage of the cooler temps and wear one of my jackets. I love pairing suede with dark denim and a simple white or black tee. The jeans I’m wearing are the fall/winter version of my favorite L’Agence Alicient jeans (shown in the light wash on Wednesday). My exact wash is almost sold out, but here’s the FW2024 version if you like wide-leg, relaxed trousers. I opted for suede booties, as black felt a bit too heavy. The belt is new from Boden, available in seven colors, and I’m obsessed with the width and “Snaffle” buckle!
