Legging Refresh
After 7 years, the time has come to replace my beloved Lysee faux leather leggings. After some research, I picked up this pair from Zella – now on sale for $41.40. With a faux leather front panel and knit back, these offer great comfort and will instantly elevate your go-to legging look. And, while I was shopping, I came across this fabulous pair of feather trim – yes that’s right – faux leather crop leggings from Commando. Aren’t you at least curious?
And if leather is not your vibe, or the Zellas are sold out, I also liked this Moto pair from Athleta. The back pockets make these more of a legging vs a workout tight. I found these to run true to size.
Trader Joes Dinner Hack
For busy week night dinners, I love a Trader Joes dinner hack and this recipe for Sweet Potato Gnocchi with Spicy Chicken Sausage and Mushrooms was a slam dunk. From the blog, Cup of Jo, the true testament came from my husband, who raved about this meal tasting gourmet enough to serve our next dinner party or family get together. With 2 hungry men in the house, I use 2 packages of gnocchi. And for my salad loving husband, I served his portion over a bowl of arugula.
