From this week’s most clicked look and beauty find to my favorite coffee mug and yummy pancakes you can feel good about serving up to your family, welcome to AskSuzanneBell Friday Favorites!
1. Rae Dunn Ceramic Mugs
Up your #CoffeeMug Instagram game with a mug from Rae Dunn. A California native who resides in the San Francisco, Bay Area, Rae has a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Industrial Design and worked in graphics and fashion design for several years before discovering clay, which has now been her passion since 1994. The mugs are made of white ceramic and look handmade. What draws me to her pieces is the imperfect, capital case font written message on each piece – it simply makes me smile. Read more about Rae Dunn, in this archived Simple Magazine Article | HERE.
What am I so excited about? Beyond this delicious Cafe Mocha served up in a “BE KIND” mug…I spent the morning mapping out a beautiful, robust and affirming event for women with Life Coach and fellow Blogger, Kanesha Baynard of KaneshaBaynard.com (HERE). Our event centers around attendees welcoming spring with open arms so they can maximize their power and pleasure. Look for details coming soon. Do you want to get on the insider list? Message me (HERE) or drop me a line down below with the word “BLOOM”, and I will add you to the email list.

2. Modern Honey’s Banana Oatmeal Pancakes

And while you’re enjoying your coffee, I’d like to share a Saturday morning breakfast favorite around my house, Banana Oatmeal Pancakes | HERE. In addition to being dairy-free, oil-free, and sugar-free – ladies, you make these in the blender! Yes, that’s right. Dump all the ingredients into your blender, mix and over to the griddle you go. That’s ONE “bowl” to clean. I pile fresh berries on mine, the kids add chocolate chips to theirs (so much for the healthy part). But these pancakes are sneaky, you’re family won’t realize they are actually good for them!

3. Amore Pacific Color Control Cushion Compact | SPF 50+

After Bobbi Brown discontinued my favorite cushion compact (read more HERE), I have been on a mission to find a replacement product. What I loved about the Bobbi Brown Skin Foundation Cushion Compact, was my skin felt hydrated and comfortable all day long. And because it was a compact, I could carry it in my makeup bag, touch up as needed, and never look “powdery” at the end of the day – from too many touch-ups. After finding myself without my makeup bag on a recent trip, I ventured out to find a foundation to cover me till I got home, and lo and behold discovered the Amore Pacific Color Control Cushion Compact. In my opinion, the Amore Pacific Compact is even better than my favorite Bobbi Brown Compact as it comes with a 0.52 oz. refill and puff, which my Bobbi Brown compact did not. I recommend having someone show you how to apply this product and get the correct color match as it is different than other foundations and BB, CC creams you might be used to.
Experience the breakthrough air cushion technology that changed the face of beauty. Color Control Cushion Compact by AMOREPACIFIC offers weightless, buildable coverage and effortless perfection. It fills micro lines and ensures color build into fine, even layers, and SPF 50+ protects against both harmful UVA and UVB rays. The compact also brightens and prevents skin irritation while providing superior antioxidant protection, while a hydrating bamboo sap formula replaces a traditional water-in-oil base for deep moisturization. Dynamic Fluid Capture System Technology transforms liquid into a refined emulsion. A non-absorbing air cell puff applicator cools and soothes the skin – Nordstrom.com

4. Most Clicked On AskSuzanneBell Item From Last Month | Kate Spade Janays Rimless Sunglasses
If you missed the original post from October 2018, you can get caught up by linking to Elevate Your Wardrobe One (or 5!) of these Fab Pieces (HERE). Obsessed with finding a pair of square rimless 70’s inspired sunglasses, I purchased a pair by Chloe. Sadly, the pair I purchased was too big on my face. So, back they went. My search continued, until I came across the Kate Spade “Janays”. These sunnies normally run around $170 a pair over at Neiman’s and Nordstrom, but Amazon has a few colors available for way less (linked below). So, in the event you’ve been looking for a pair of square rimless sunnies that won’t break the bank, here ya go!

Now I want pancakes! 🙂 I’ll definitely give them a try!
And that foundation sounds interesting! I used to use a compact years ago and loved that I could carry it with me. I’ll have to try this one!
the event with Kanesha sounds great! Hope to be able to make it!
Ok, those pancakes are so yummy! And despite the fact that they are pretty healthy, the kids love them too! I do really like that foundation. It’s not heavy and it just feels good on my skin.
Thank you for your interest in our event. I have you on the email list, so when we get the details on eventbrite, I will be sure to sent it out to you. We think it will be really fun!
