Hello and welcome back to Friday Favorites! This week’s round-up includes a little of this-and-that, ranging from this weeks outfit share, the cutest pair of PINK snakeskin shoes (under $72.00!), to Shopping ( a round-up of this week’s Target finds). And in the event you’re looking to bake something fabulous, this week’s Market Recipe, Chocolate Zucchini Bread, is sure to be a hit even with the veggie haters in your family (and if not, I promise someone else will eat it!). New to Friday Favorites? Check out last weeks round-up of home, style, and fashion by clicking (HERE).
1. This Weeks Outfit | Funky Fusion
I wanted to wear something fun to my family birthday dinner, and this colorful Dodo Bar Or caftan dress (SIMILAR) fit the bill. Admittedly there’s a lot going on with this look, but somehow it all came together. Gold accessories allow the dress to shine and a simple circle bag added to the boho vibe. It was hot as heck, but nothing a clip-on hair extension couldn’t handle.

2. FW19 Trend | Snakeskin Shoes
My girlfriend was wearing THE CUTEST pink snakeskin loafers the other day and let me snap a photo of them to share with you all today.
Darling right? Available at Nordstrom, shop her EXACT shoe | HERE. The Steve Madden ‘Feather’ Loafer is available in 10 colors, but why wouldn’t you want pink snakeskin?? $69.95-$71.95 | HERE.
3. Let’s Shop! | Who What Wear @ Target | HERE
If you want to try a trend without breaking the bank, look no further than your local Target. THIS leopard print boyfriend cardigan bears quite a resemblance to the BP Leopard Cardigan that instantly sold out during the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale. Available in regular and plus sizes | $36.99. And THESE on trend snake slides remind me a bit of the snake mules that I was wearing in last weeks Friday Favorites | HERE.
The collection is vast, but I rounded up a few of my favorites for you to browse. Click on any photo to get details, if you are on a mobile device swipe left to view all of the selections.
4. Market Recipe | Chocolate Zucchini Cake
With 2 full-grown active teens in the house, I like to have healthy food options available to grab-and-go for breakfast, after-school and late-night snacks. This week I picked up some extra zucchini at the Farmers Market and baked up THIS Chocolate Zucchini Cake from the Italian Dish Blog. This bread calls for 2 zucchinis, cocoa, butter, vegetable oil (I used olive oil), buttermilk, plus the usual flour, salt, sugar, baking soda, and eggs. Since the crew ended up eating the “cake” in the morning, I’d like to try subbing out a few of the ingredients – as I often do with breakfast bread. Or if you are looking for an overall healthier version, THIS RECIPE from The Montana Homesteader looks like something to try.

Did you know that Pinterest is my favorite form of social media? It’s so fun without all the algorithm mess of IG and Facebook….I invite you to follow along for weekly inspiration on all this style, beauty, food, home and travel (HERE).
5. Real Estate News | A Diamond in the Rough
Rick and I just listed this charming 1915 bungalow which sits on a large 10,349+/- square foot parcel and is located less than a mile from vibrant downtown Murphy Street in Sunnyvale. The possibilities for this property are endless; remodel, rebuild, construct an accessory dwelling unit (buyer to independently verify the possibilities). To get more info and view additional photos and a video home tour of this Sunnyvale Diamond in the Rough, visit 309 N. Sunnyvale Avenue | (HERE).
We will be busy holding this property open over the weekend | Saturday and Sunday (9/28 & 9/29) from 1:30-4:30 | Lic. 01422075
6. Eco-Friendly Greetings | Paperless Post
Paperless Post offers the cutest Thank You Note designs from favorites like Kate Spade, Rifle Paper Co, and Anthropologie. I am a sucker for anything with a “bee” and THIS design caught my fancy. Paperless post offered me a few “coins” to stop by their site and poke around. Did you know they’ve added “flyers” to their large collection of invitations? Flyers look like a fun option for casual events, meetings, work socials, etc. With the holidays around the corner, I thought I’d give this fun site a shout out. You can check out what’s new | HERE.
