This past Saturday morning, I was lounging around drinking coffee at the beach with girlfriends Suzy and Phoenix, catching up and talking about what girls do; family, work, aging, skincare, travel, politics, juggling life and of course fashion. I had just given Suzy a fun bag and scarf for her birthday, (more on the bag in a bit) when Phoenix asked if we had seen the cap toe espadrilles by Chanel. No we had not, and yes she owned them. Knowing the shoes were on-site, right there in her car, we begged her to run out to her car, and grab them- so we could swoon over them. That she did, here’s a peek:

Now, even if you wanted a pair, I couldn’t tell you where to go, as Chanel doesn’t allow retailers to place most of their collections online – you need to search it out in person. Phoenix purchased hers at Neiman Marcus, she didn’t recall the price, but I am thinking around $750.00 +. I love friends like Phoenix because they always have the designer “it” thing – which I then I then try to find for less, which I already did! Thanks girl!

As for that fun bag I was talking about? I purchased the last one for Suzy, out of the window display, at a local boutique, Gitane. I did however find the website the bag originates from, Dharma Door USA, and I have to say, these are some fun bags!
