Greetings from the California Coast!
I hope you all had a wonderful week! For us, it’s still Spring Break, and I’m writing to you from my Happy Place, Aptos California. We had a fun packed week, some rain – but more sunshine, caught up on a few classic movies (Die Hard, Dead Poets Society, Sixteen Candles…you get the idea), cozied up by the fire, long walks, lots of BBQ and fresh strawberries, a trip to the fish market, the kids are learning to skim board, and my daughter is killing me at chess – must be the ocean air gone to my head, I’m a bit off my game. I’m currently reading The Island, by Elin Hilderbrand – the perfect beach read.
It’s been the perfect break for all…now if I could only stay one more week!
Now back to business, let’s get to what’s on sale over at Nordstrom!
Early spring, favorites start to hit the sales racks. Quite a few of my early spring picks from Nordstrom, including select Gorjana pieces, which I just featured this past Tuesday, are now on sale. Lots of premium and trend denim along with some gorgeous spring blouses to lighten up your look. For you bargain shoppers, the Clear the Rack Event, is back again at Nordstrom Rack, and there are some amazing deals to be had!
Click arrows to scroll through. If an items pops up as sold out, double check as often Polyvore has this part wrong. You can also try calling your local Nordstrom to see if they can locate the item for you in one of their stores.
Anything catch your eye? I could resist ordering the fringe cuff crop jeans from Sun and Shadow at under $40.00 (HERE). See this exact pair styled up over at Fashion Should Be Fun (HERE). Note, my size was sold out online, but I called my local Nordstrom Brass Plum Department and they searched a pair out for me. On their way from New Jersey, I’ll be sure to share them once they arrive.
Anyone catch the Victoria Beckham for Target launch? I heard strong mixed reviews, and did not make it in myself. I did check it out online and thought the kids stuff was really cute. All the appliqués and embroidery not for me in the womens selection, but there were some cute rompers, tops and dresses available. Dawn Lucy Ross over at Fashion Should Be Fun, did a great review earlier this week. You can check out her Target Dressing Room Reviews in Victoria Beckham X Target Review (HERE)
I hope to see you back here next week…I’ll be talking second hand style and sharing tips on how to host your own clothing swap!
XOXO
Suzanne

Sounds & looks like the perfect week at the coast! I love all of your photos!
Have a wonderful week!
Thank you Andrea! We had the best week. Even though the weather was a bit off, it was as beautiful and restful as ever! xx
Could you Share where you stay in Aptos? Is it a rental home or Air bnb? I would love to stay right on the beach like that…so gorgeous!
Hi Andrea! We rent a home in the Seascape/Rio Del Mar Area of Santa Cruz. Cheshire Properties is one of the large property management companies in that particular area. xx
