As predicted, as we approach December 25, the holiday deals are just getting better and better. Which is why I put today’s scheduled post out for a future date so we can get right down to dishing on some fantastic deals. Whether you are shopping for special gifts to give or cozy gifts to get, here’s my list of top 10 sales to shop right now.

The Whisper Featherless Long Vest has been on mind since trying it on, in-store back in October. Since that time, it has been in and out of my cart as I thought it was a tad pricey at $229.00 and the reviews are mixed – depending on how much of a fashion risk you are willing to take in styling it. I missed the Black Friday promo, only to venture into the store 2 weeks ago and try it on again – at full price. A true outfit maker, when I saw she hit the sale rack today at $139.99 with an additional 30% off – making this piece under $100) , I couldn’t enter the numbers on my credit card fast enough.
No, I do not recommend styling this with flip flops and a tank top, but this is California Fall for you. What I want to show, is how this vest looks on a real person vs the model. I think it looks really chic, unzipped and belted. There are some good photos within the reviews showing real women who took the time to actually style it cute, take a look HERE.
My review: some say this vest gives off Mulan vibes, but I think it’s all in how you style it. Paired with a turtleneck (on sale here) or long sleeve tee, jeans or leggings and a pair of boots of your choosing – it really doesn’t matter what you wear under it because like a sweater dress, it is a one-and-done outfit on it’s own. Perfect for CA winters – but also as a layering piece in those cold areas around the country – this is a win for me. Some say the shoulders stick out – any maybe they do a bit. I have narrow shoulders and when I wear it with a heavy layer underneath, it’s totally fine. Available in XXS – 3X, Regular, Tall and Petite, I went with my regular size small in this vest, in the black color.
