Subsequent to Tuesday’s post, Jumpsuit Love and Romper Musings for Us Gals Over 40 (HERE), I had some requests for jumpsuits and rompers that are currently available to browse. I rounded up 20+ pieces from Anthropologie, Nordstrom and Trina Turk to window shop via Polyvore.com, only to discover that the site shut down and was sold to SSense, locking all of us users our of our accounts, TODAY! Unbelievable, but welcome to the virtual world. Needless to say, there are a lot of people, including myself, who have lost ALL their content and are pretty upset. I was a member of Polyvore before I began blogging – for over 5 years! And yes, all my work has vanished into cyberspace!!! So, while I look for another method to share my style picks with you here, I do have a few jumpsuits that are currently an extra 40% off the sale price at Anthro this weekend, including 2 jumpsuits from Yumi Kim, 2 from Maeve. I personally own a Yumi Kim jumpsuit that I love, it does run long so some hemming may be required depending on your shoe heel height. The ruffle hem on the Ansonia jumpsuit is so on trend and is available in 2 colors. I didn’t find any rompers on sale at Anthro, but I have found some in the past at great prices, at Marshalls, Nordstrom Rack, Old Navy and Target. The collection I was GOING to share, had picks from Nordstrom, Trina Turk and Anthropologie.
This Weeks Happenings
Speaking of Trina Turk, Kim of NorthernCaliforniaStyle and I will be hosting a fun event on April 19th at the Trina Turk Boutique on Burlingame Avenue and would for love any of you and your friends to come join us for a morning of styling, shopping and good ‘ol girl fun! Kim and I will be onsite to help with any styling needs you may have from 10:30-1pm. Anyone who attends the event will get 20% off their regular price purchase in the store that day! Whohoo!
It’s been a busy work week for me, and in addition to my day to day, I had the opportunity to record a fun interview with #GirlBoss Vickie Breslin, owner of a fabulous new restaurant in our town. I invite you to check out our interview, filmed this week at her new establishment The Post. From it’s newly constructed interiors, to its “Comfort Food You Can Feel Good About” menu, The Post is certain to be a hit in Los Altos. Listen in on our discussion regarding the restaurant’s origins, cocktail mixology, menu strategy and the upcoming Kentucky Derby event. Let’s Meet at The Post in Los Altos can be viewed on RickandSuzanneBell.com by clicking HERE
In addition to today’s Anthropologie Sale Jumpsuit Picks, I have some real women JUMPSUIT and ROMPER style to share, which to me is better than any Polyvore Set you’ll find out there. So a BIG thank you to my blogger sisters for sharing their looks with me, so I could pass them along to all of you here on AskSuzanneBell.com. And as far as Polyvore.com…they are the ones who will lose on this one!
I follow each of these fabulous ladies and you should too! You will find links to each of their sites, below their names…

What I Wore This Week
The sun peeked out for a few days this week, so of course I pulled out a few spring looks. My favorite was this colorful sundress, it has all all of my favorite colors. Paired off with nude sunnies, a market tote and red sandals that date back 20 years ago from my trip to Italy…oh those Italians sure know bags and shoes! I’ll be sharing more spring style next week here on AskSuzanneBell.com.
Have a fabulous weekend friends!

Hi Robin! Agreed, these are my favorite kind of posts! I love featuring “real women” sharing THEIR own unique style..and these ladies do that so well! Ah yes, the 80’s jumpsuit! THE SHOULDER PADS! EEK! Was it called the POWER JUMPSUIT? ANyway, the styles today are much more wearable in my opinion…it’s a dress with legs! A win win! Have a great weekend! xx Suzanne
What a fun post! I haven’t tried a jumpsuit on, well, maybe since Junior high! Maybe I need to give it another go! Every single lady on this post looks so lovely!
Hi Amy! I bet you would love a jumpsuit once you find the style that works for you! Think about the dresses you love that you feel most comfortable in..what do you like about them? THe fabric, styling, color? ARe they print or solid? What will you wear with it from jewelry to a topper…Then look for a jumpsuit with those elements. That’s what works for me! Thank you for stopping by and happy weekend to you! xx Suzanne
Wow! Everyone looks so fabulous! Now I want to get another midi romper! Thanks for sharing! Happy Weekend!
