In a Style Rut? Add a Pop Color!

With many grey skies and rainy days ahead this month and next, it’s easy to slip into a grey/black rut. The solution? Bring on the color! Today’s transitional spring look started with my Rag and Bone slim boyfriend jeans and a go-to Vince cardigan layered on for warmth. Dark and grey, I added a colorful print blouse, a pop of red lipstick and swapped out my black booties for a pair of transitional booties in a grey-blue color and walked with a spring in my step the rest of the day. That’s the beauty of fashion…something as simple as adding a pop of color on a grey sky day, can switch up your mood in an instant.

I love my pal Suzy’s bright pink jacket and can we talk about the fun loafers? Celeste’s furry accessory is her new puppy who joined us at lunch today with his little red collar! Tell me, how do you break out of the mid-winter style rut?
