Over the past week, we have been talking about what to wear whether it is a festive party, movie night or fun girls night out. I promise your evening will start off more relaxed if you have a few outfits planned out ahead of time. Planning ahead allows you the extra time needed to pull the rest of yourself together, and breathe before heading out the door.
If you missed any posts from last week you can still catch up! For a night on the town click HERE, for a relaxed casual day or evening click HERE, wondering how to pull off the full skirt trend click HERE.
Today, we will wrap the “Lets Go Out” series up with a pretty bow by talking accessories! To me, accessories are the key to creating your own style. In the home, we accessorize to make the end product a personal statement. For example, you buy a sofa, to make it your own you select throw pillows that you may even change with the season to reflect your own personal style. The same goes for fashion. You can change up some basic pieces and get an entire new look by swapping out the jewelry or throwing on a scarf. Enjoy the process this is the fun part!
When I need to accessorize an outfit, I first take a look at what I have on hand in my closet. If I strike out, I take the entire outfit including the shoes with me to the store. Once in the store I find a knowledgable salesperson to help me, this saves valuable time and money .
I love all accessories. I love how a sparkly headband atop a ponytail or bun can take your quick ‘do from blah to fab! I think a beautiful wrap is more glamorous than a cardigan for a night out. A fun bag, belts, hats and bling are the icing on the cake!
Scarves
I love infinity scarves simply for their ease. There are endless ways to tie a scarf, but who has time for that? Pop on an infinity scarf and off you go, warm and stylish! My friend Summer and I had some time on our last trip to the mall to try a few on for you!
This scarf is soft and just pops over the head. Faux Fur Infinity Scarf | HERE |Nordstrom
I felt this one overwhelmed me a bit but keep in mind I have very narrow shoulders. This scarf has great reviews. It was on backorder, but I noticed last night it was back in stock! Grab it if you like it! I thought the price/value combo was fantastic HERE | Brass Plum Nordstrom

Old Navy always has fun scarves and this was my favorite HERE, currently on promo for $14.00!
From our friends at Target, I love both of these scarves. I saw them in person and for the price I think they are a fun fashion statement. HERE and HERE | Target
And thank you Summer for allowing me throw tons of scarves on you so we could narrow it down to these favorites to share on the blog! You rock!
Belts
These are a few belts I just love for the holiday season! In addition to defining your waist, they add just a touch of sparkle to your dress or skirt. One of my favorites is an Obi belt for its versatility.

HERE | Nordstrom. I think Nadri makes the best pave hoops. More shapes and colors available.
HERE and HERE | Nordstrom. When I want to splurge on sparkle, I go for Alexis Bittar. His jewelry is amazing and truly a work of art. I love his rose gold and gunmetal tones. Check it out his full line when you have time. Stunning!
Handbags
I love the cross-body chain style bag!
I came across this one this week while shopping at Neiman Marcus Last Call, HERE If you like fringe, this one is really fun. I find in some cross body bags the strap is too short for me. This one is adjustable and long. Was $130 | now $45-$63 | 4 colors | Neiman Marcus Last Call
Quite a few of the Rebecca Minkoff cross body bags have been marked down at Nordstrom. Her bags are fantastic!
