After experiencing first hand, last Sunday’s Lilly for Target website crash followed by Twitter chatter of the stores selling out of product as doors were opening for business, I was eager to check out the smaller collaboration of Milly for Kohl’s. Armed with a latte and fellow fashion blogger Melissa Menzies of YUMMOMUMMO we popped on over to Kohl’s yesterday, the official launch date for Milly. That said, you may have caught my Facebook post letting you all know that you could purchase it online on Monday – seriously?
Kohls, unlike Target was empty. And no, this was not early in the morning, Melissa and I had the whole place to ourselves.
We finally found Milly, mind you there was no hoop-la or cart hoarding, not even a sign pointing us where to go. And Kohl’s is already promoting Milly at 25% off!
Yup, that was it! The best pieces from the collection not even on the sales floor. We did find a schematic showing the inventory and where it was to be placed that someone left on the table – this was the extent of the launch, 2 fixtures of merchandise.
Now, I do think there are some cute pieces and the quality is decent. My picks for Milly can be found HERE. Take a peek if you are interested, all the styles are available to purchase online – already at a discount!
Such a bummer execution of Milly on Kohl’s part, but Melissa and I had already moved on to maxi dresses, cute tops, distressed denim, wedge shoes and necklaces – all on promo!
The prices at Kohls are fantastic this weekend and you have not one, but two fashion bloggers sorting though the chaos to bring you our favorites. It’s a two-fer and a sale, whohoo!
Note that Kohl’s is currently offering all kinds of promos, sale on sale when you use your Kohl’s charge card. Prices in this post do not include additional percentages off. To calculate those prices would take me all night!

Here’s a look at what caught my eye while exploring Kohl’s.
As you know, I am kinda into this look at the moment; distressed denim, a fun billowy blouse and wedges

Ladies, you can get the look now at Kohls!
The blouse

The jean

The wedges

The necklace

Total cost for jean+blouse+wedge+necklace around $130.00 vs $800.00!
Pop quiz!
These jackets are priced from $47.00 to $255.00
Can you guess which is which?

Here’s a few denim looks all under $200.00 INCLUDING the necklace, shoe and handbag!

Links to all pieces can be found in my Polyvore Sets HERE
At times when you click an item in Polyvore it says it is sold out, just click on through-it is usually available.
In need of a few random things I headed over to Target , no Lilly but I did spot two cute handbags and had to share!
