March Favorites | 10 Things To Love Right Now

It’s that time again when we take a quick look back at what’s been happening here on AskSuzanneBell.com over the past month. Welcome to March Favorites!

There was so much happening here this past month it was difficult for me to highlight only 10 things to love. From a budget-friendly, high-waisted jean from Target to a Golden Goose Sneaker DUPE for under $30, what do you say we take a look?

1.Tory Burch Spring 2019

Something Wild Stripe is the name of this print which describes it perfectly. Classic styling with a twist of a bohemian vibe, I’ve been wearing this spring-ready silk midi dress whenever the weather allows. 2. Lou & Grey Zen Bounce Upstate Sweatpants

After hearing a friend of mine rave about the softness and comfort of these everyday sweatpants I had to share. In fact, she told me she likes them better than Barefoot Dreams and they are about 1/2 the price. NOTE: Jen says these ran big for her, so perhaps considering sizing down.

3. MIA Marlowe Glitz Sneaker | on sale for $28.99 + an extra 25% off at ShoeMall | HERE

I LOVE Golden Goose Sneakers (HERE), but boy are they pricey ($500 +…eek!). However you can thank my super-shopper mom Cyndy, who found this fab DUPE over at Nordstrom Rack! Sold out at Nordstrom Rack,  Similar at 6pm | HERE.  Exact at Shoe Mall | HERE.

4. Universal Thread High Rise Skinny Jean

If you are looking to test out the high-rise jean silhouette without breaking the bank, Loretta Sayers of Countdown to 60, wrote me a note to let me know how much she loves the High-RIse Skinny Jean by Universal Thread at Target. And it just so happens I was in Target this week picking up plastic storage bins and lo and behold I found myself in the dressing room trying this wonder jean on. My exact jean is in Medium Wash (HERE). 

NOTE: the button fly in olive green with pockets (HERE) is a size up from what I would buy and grey distressed (HERE). I found these all to run TTS. As you can see in the size up, they are too loose for a skinny fit and were too big in the waist.

5. The Cali Demi Boot Cut Jean by Madewell

On sale now for $69.99 at Nordstrom (HERE), the Cali Demi Boot Cut Button Fly Jean has a 9 1/2″ high-rise, button front, AND get this…an extra layer of holds-you-in sorcery in front, thanks to Madewell’s supersleek Magic Pockets. Now I can’t say feel or see these magic pockets, but this pair of jeans does seem to hug the body and I found them to be almost as comfortable as sweat pants. Also available without the button fly. 6. Eileen Fisher ‘Blog’ Mule

I own these exact mules in black (see above photo) and have been wearing them non-stop since I broke them out of their box. Super comfortable, they run TTS and look great with everything from denim to skirts. Many mules are so flat, I think what makes these winners is the slight heel. They stay on and ran TTS for me.

In my opinion, the Amore Pacific Compact is even better than my favorite Bobbi Brown Compact as it comes with a 0.52 oz. refill and puff, which my Bobbi Brown compact did not. I recommend having someone show you how to apply this product and get the correct color match as it is different than other foundations and BB, CC creams you might be used to.
