Back today with more of this-and-that; read on for the best $20.00 I spent this summer, books I’m reading, kid-friendly snacks, my latest denim crush, and how to keep that carefree summer vibe going into fall.
My New ‘Lil Gadget
Are wrinkles preventing you form wearing what you really want this week?
My best summer investment was this little guy at Target:
Only $19.99!
After struggling for years with my Shark Press & Refresh (great for big projects like drapes, steaming multiple garments, etc), the My Little Steamer Go Mini is great for quick touch-ups and travel. No, you will not be able to steam multiple garments at once, but for the outfit you want to wear now – it totally works. Great for in-between dry-cleaning trips as well. Within a minute, it heats up to steam – within minutes you are ready to go. Some negative reviews state it leaks, I’ve never had that issue. Follow the directions, and make sure it’s screwed on tight? Works for me!
Keep that summer vibe going!

THE best smelling and feeling body oil EVER. If it wasn’t so pricey, I’d wear it year round – everyday!
What I’m Reading
After running over a gigantic screw and landing ourselves a flat tire, my daughter and I were stranded at Target for a few hours this past weekend. While we waited for our new set to be put on the car over at Wheel Works, I collected a few of my favorite reads, and figured why not share them with you all here.
Past summer reads: The Rumor (fun beach read!) | Husband’s Secret (more chic-lit) | The Girl on the Train (if you haven’t read it, do – coming out in a movie real soon!)
On the list to read: Truly Madly Guilty| Here’s to Us (I really enjoyed The Rumor, so this is on my short list)
Right now, I’m totally engrossed in All Things Cease to Appear ,

What I’m Feeding the Kids
More Chia!
My kids (and husband) love these no-bake energy bites,

from Gimme Some Oven (HERE); I put them in the lunches, as well as for an after school snack! They are so simple to make, my son can even make them himself! This week he thought it would be fun to sub out the peanut butter for Nutella – they were delicious!
My picky fruit kid loves these sour grapes.

Frozen Glitter Grapes from Let’s Get Cookin’ Blog (HERE). Easy to make, another great afternoon snack for the kids!

How can you not smile,
drinking out of this happy cup every morning?
What I’m Wearing
My latest denim crush is from Seven Jeans
‘Ginger’ Tailorless Wide Leg Trouser.
What’s Tailorless?
Via the 7 for all Mankind Website: “Tailorless” keeps the integrity of the silhouette intact. Hemming a new flare can wipe out its intended shape and drama. Our shorter inseam collection is specifically designed to require little to no alternations.
What I love about this jean is, the shorter inseam allows me to wear a released hem jean with flip flops. Where have you been all season dear?

Pop back on Saturday; I’ll be styling them up in this weekend’s style post!
