In this week’s mid-week mishmash, I’ve got some new finds from our friends over at Target, an update on this week’s sale happenings over at Nordstrom, a look at the all new Anthropologie & Co. here in Palo Alto, and a special promo and introduction to a new label for gals on the go, GoPants!

Target’s most recent collection from WhoWhatWear includes some great pieces, for pulling together the look for less this holiday season!

This bomber jacket, for under $50.00, reminds me of my DVF furry bomber, worn here to the opening party at Anthropologie last week, with a vintage suede wrap skirt, cashmere mock neck, and floppy hat.
Keep a look out for the Target sale ads, my guess is, much of the women’s wear over at Target, goes on promo for Black Friday, if not sooner!

The happiest place on earth for Anthro lovers, just got better!
Last week, an all new mega Anthropologie & Co. opened in my town, right here in Palo Alto!
My daughter and I were fortunate to be able to attend the opening cocktail party last Thursday night, and what an event it was!
Beautifully executed, the attention to detail in this fabulous store was over the top! Decked and ready for the Holidays, the sales people alone were worth going to see, in their gorgeous gowns and faux fur. From the Terrain garden shop, to the extensive shoe area, this is a must visit for any Anthro lover! Plan a few hours and stay for lunch or coffee…you’ll be happy you did!

Nordstrom Sales
These days, Black Friday Sales are Thanksgiving Week Sales … with a kick on Cyber Monday. Nordstrom has already been marking down inventory along with other retailers. My suggestion is to shop now, put what you love in your cart and watch to see if it goes on sale. By doing so, I find I don’t buy something ‘just because it’s a great deal”. Also, many retailers offer a generous adjustment period, so if I see something I like this week, I usually grab it – keep my receipt – in the event it get’s a second markdown. The following are a few, of the large amount of markdowns, that caught my eye. In addition, there are a ton of Ugg boots and slippers on sale, Tory Burch and Premium Denim – with more markdowns still be taken. You are right, it gets pretty wild around here this weekend each year..and it seems like each year it gets more and more competitive. I did pick up a few great pieces which I posted tonight on the blog. I too am a big fan of both wrap skirts and wrap dresses…i am a sucker for a DVF vintage wrap dress!
