Did you catch Wednesdays post, featuring an entire date night outfit, for under $200.00?
If you missed it, pop on over to Let’s Go Out! Looks for Less, and check out this fun set, yes ladies – it’s really under $200.00!
Last week, while putting the post together, I came across some other amazing items over at H & M, and had a chance, to take a look at the new arrivals.
Here’s a look at a few of my favorites:
Kimono Jaquard Wrap Jacket | $59.99, now on sale for $49.99
Textured Crop Jacket | $59.99
I can see this with denim or a pencil skirt – for work or play!
Ribbed Sweater Dress | $49.99 (not yet available online)
I’ll be styling this up for you all, 8 different ways, next week!
Stripe Kimono Sweater Cardigan (super light weight) | $19.99
Cold shoulder tops are trending for SS16, and this grey ribbed tee is only $17.99.
I like this long fringe sweater vest in navy, $34.99
Here’s a few more pieces, spotted this week.
The felt hat was just marked down to $19.90, along with loads of new markdowns, this morning at H&M.
Remember these booties – for under $50.00?
Well, mine arrived, and I have to say, they are pretty fabulous!
Yes, they have a 4″ heel.
Yes, I have a rule to stay at 3″, 3.5″ max heel including a platform.
Yes, these were a risk to order, and I was worried about the height.
But, I have to say, for a 4″ heel, they are pretty comfortable. No, you will not see me wearing these around town on a daily basis, but, for a night out they are great.
No squished toes, they’re nicely padded, and for the price – they look more expensive than they are. I like that they have simple clean lines. I can see wearing these with denim, skirts, dresses (especially midi styles), culottes, and wide leg jumpsuits. I found they ran true to size. Some reviews state you could size down – maybe, if you are truly between sizes. I always buy an 8.5M and these fit great. Maybe if I was an 8.5 N I’d size down because they do run a bit wide, or if I could wear an 8, I’d perhaps size down. Since they were final sale, I didn’t want to risk them being too tight, and unwearable. I most always add a toe pad in my heels, to prevent slippage, so the bit of extra room, allows me to do exactly that.
What are toe pads you say?
I like these from Tacco:
available on Amazon or the European Cobblery, if you live here locally.
Foot Petals work as well for padding,
but if your issue, is your foot slides forward, or you “walk out of your shoe” – the Tacco is a better product, in my opinion, and worth the extra money to keep my foot secure.

Anyone ever pay full price at Kohls?
Block heels are continuing into SS16, I think this nude sandal works with just about anything,
I love this pewter Vera Wang platform, not yet available online| Similar in black.
Vera Wang | $74.99
This next pair, remind me of an Eileen Fisher sandal, with a euro twist. I like the cork detail and wedge heel.
Vera Wang platform wedge sandal | reg $74.99, now $36.99
This thong sandal, is the one you look for in the summer, and can’t find.
The silver, and rose gold color go with just about anything!
Sparkle Thong Sandal | reg $54.99, now $39.99
In pewter, rosegold and silver.
James Perse?
Nope, Apt 9 shirred side tee.
Actually, its called the Apt 9 Dolman Tee, no surprise the signage was wrong. But what is correct, is the sale price of $19.99!
This is one of my favorite styles of tees – bonus, the side draping hides the burger I ate from In and Out, the day before.
Available in 4 stripes and 3 solid colors, in XS-XXL

Cute pieces at H & M! Looking forward to Wednesday’s post! Sounds like you are having fun with sweater dresses! 🙂
I haven’t been to Kohl’s in years; I’ll have to check them out again…
I hadn’t heard about the newest Target collaboration; sounds interesting!
Have a wonderful weekend!
Hi Andrea! Thank you for stopping by! I thought H&M had some fun, on trend pieces on my last visit. Those kimono sweaters were really tempting. I have so many sweaters, thats the only reason I passed. I am sure I will regret it later as they are great for spring. I am having a thing for sweater dresses. I love dresses in the spring/summer – and the ribbed dresses right now make my dress options year-round. they are so comfortable and easy to wear.
I’ll be curious about the Target Collab. I’ve read its more basic – but that may be ok. They are also continuing it year-round which will be nice to see how it evolves once they get a read on what the customer likes from the first launch.
Kohl’s has some great pieces – you just have to sort through a lot of meh, to find the great fashion pieces. The online site I find totally over whelming. I stick with certain brand there, Vera Wang for shoes and sometimes denim, Elle for career pieces and Jennifer Lopez for fun trend and blouses. Apt9 has been better lately as you can see above.
Have a great weekend! XO
Wow! You always pack a big punch with your posts and I love it. I recently went in to H&M and saw some fab pieces, so I can see why you had all of these personal picks (all wonderful BYW). And 8, count them, 8 looks with that dress! I can’t wait to see how you styled it so many ways.
You are one of my very favorite bloggers Suzanne and I look forward to reading your posts. So much so that when I see it in my Bloglovin feed, I wait until I am all comfy with a blanket so I can settle in for some true inspiration and positive energy.
Keep it coming! I love it all!!!
