We all have those weeks that are busier than others, this week was mine! A week of juggling work, kids and everything in-between, we’ve all been there. In order to get out of the door on time, I found myself relying on a few go-to items from my closet which help getting dressed so much easier.
An item that got some solid wear this week was my Okala pump by Sam Edeleman. While wearing this pump out and about, I had a number of people stop and ask me where I got my shoe. It occurred to me, I can no longer keep this beauty to myself, so it’s time to share this shoe with all of you.
By the time I discovered this pump last spring, it was already sold out. I wanted it so badly, I put myself on a wait list at Nordstrom.com. Within a few weeks, I was notified that my size was now available. Thrilled, I immediately ordered it and waited. From the day these shoes landed on my front porch, they have been in a regular rotation in my closet. This shoe goes with pretty much everything and I have worn it with dresses, skirts, pants and denim. With a walkable 3 1/4″ heel, it is comfortable to boot! It is available this season in solid or patterned hair calf. I found patent leather, leather, suede and metallic options as well.
This cow hair calf version has been sold out for months, so if you track one down, you are quite the shopper. For the rest of us who are not up for a wild goose chase, there are now many fantastic new solids and patterns available.
Leopard, gray and burgundy HERE $129.95 | Nordstrom
Dark brown suede (New. I love the nude ankle strap, it is so flattering on the leg) HERE $109.95 | Nordstrom

If you like the look of the Okala, but not the price, I found some similar styles available for under $100. I have not tried any of these styles on personally, if anyone is familiar with these options, pray tell! I can’t speak to the quality or comfort of either, but, I can say that the price is good.
Similar style available in leopard with a 3 1/3″ heel HERE $79.99 on sale now for $59.99 | Kohls
Similar style available in 6 solid colors and 2 patterns with a 2 1/2″ heel HERE $69.95 | Sole Society
Below are just a few examples of how I have worn my Okala recently.

Now for the big question, with all the new choices, which color will I get next? I have my eye on the navy as well as the gray pattern hair calf. Then again, that brown suede with the nude strap is pretty fantastic as well! Do you have some favorite go-to items that help you get out the door when you are in a rush? If so, please let me know your thoughts. Thanks for stopping by and have a fantastic weekend! Be sure to like me on Facebook to get frequent updates on sales and happenings thoughout the week.
XOXO Suzanne
