White denim is everywhere this spring!
Crop, skinny, bootcut or destroyed – there is something for everyone.
One of my favorite ways to wear white skinny jeans during the warmer months is with a tunic top.
There are three reasons I started wearing tunics with white jeans.
(1) I wanted to cover my butt
(2) Some of my favorite tunics are just too short to wear as a dress
(3) I was being lazy
Here’s a look at one pair of white skinny jeans – styled 4 ways.

Where I find tunics:
First check your swimsuit drawer – coverups make great tunics as well as swimsuit coverups!
OR
Brands such as BodenUSA, Lilly Pulitzer (look for less coming soon to Target, more on this collab coming Saturday on AskSuzanneBell), JCrew, Toss, Nanako, Roberta Roller Rabbit, Michael Kors just to name a few. Anthropologie and Free people always have a great selection of tunics.
Here’s a few I spotted recently while browsing online.

Now you know my lazy girl go-to spring outfit look.
The key with tunic dressing is getting the length that works for you.
Too long?
A trip to the tailor can get that tunic to sit exactly right on your thigh. It’s worth the $5.00-$10.00 to make that happen. Some places like Nordstrom may even do it when you buy a full price top at no cost, you can always ask.
Petite? Crop the pant and throw on a pair of wedges, instant tallness!
Have a fabulous week ladies and thanks for stopping by!

I really like your Nanako tunic. It looks like it comes in one size. Do you think it will be too much for a short petite figure? It looks great on you!
Hi Jennie! So yes, Nanako is one size Asian sizing, they call it. It was a brand I found on my last trip to NYC. I wear a tank under it and adjust the tie for however tight I want the waist to be. I have also worn it untied and tied in the back as well as belted. The great part about you being petite is you can actually wear it as a dress which I can’t do. Here is the link to their site, take a peek around. I have the Kimono as well which is featured in this post that I wear over the tie dress. I think you’ll be ok as the fabric is very light and flow so it won’t swallow you. Keith and Nanako are very helpful and will answer any questions (and even offer suggestions) you may have via email. http://nanakoclothes.com/shop.html
