Cold one day, hot the next. For me, March was all about layering. Having already cleaned out my closet (I was feeling optimistic, for some spring weather), I did my best to spring forward, yet stay warm, in transitional pieces. It appears we have some warm weather headed our way. I’m dying to break out my spring shoes, and finally pack up the boots – till next fall!
Here’s a look at a few favorite looks, from the month of March:
So wanting to spring forward, I grabbed this colorful tote, to brighten my rainy day look.
More rain, heading into a luncheon for Bay Kids, in San Francisco.
Getting more wear, out of my frayed crop jeans.
Here they are again – on a day, when the sun came out,
and in the City, paired with a moto jacket.
I’ve been wearing my Vince Camuto ‘Evel’ sandals, whenever the weather permits,
with my Citizens for Humanity ‘Emerson’ jeans (now available without holes!).
I picked up this Michael Lauren black fringe poncho over at Papillon. And here’s another look, at this very workable piece.
Paired up with Hudson flare jeans and Rebecca Taylor silk blouse, found over at ThredUp.
Speaking of ThredUp finds, I can’t wait to get some more use, out of this deep red convertible maxi dress/skirt.
I layered on Gorjana gold pendant necklaces, and laced up my booties.
Joe’s denim jacket, Free People frayed hem skirt, and Zara Tote (more on this look, HERE)
A look at my favorite new shoes,
paired with a LOFT abstract floral dress (full post HERE), and the same denim jacket (Joe’s).
And last but certainly not least, perhaps my favorite look this month.
This look was really fun to pull together. My husband and I attended a fundraiser for my son’s school this past weekend. You can imagine, I was pretty excited to unleash my inner boho for the Bohemian themed party, I have to admit, I felt a little Rachel Zoe…
Looking for a fun, summertime, easy to pull together celebration? Consider throwing Bohemian Rhapsody Party in your backyard! It’s probably the easiest theme to throw together, as anything goes! I borrowed this caftan from a friend, the bag is mine from years ago. The sunnies? Vintage Dior from my mother-in-law from the 70’s. I threw on a bunch of gold, unmatched baubles and the hair? My local party store!
