Fur, texture and luxe fabrics are big this season, seen everywhere on the streets of NYC. Understanding you may not be ready for a full-on furry coat, or live in a warmer climate – this look may not be all that practical for you. So how about trying, a fur vest?
No longer just a fun piece for going out, these furry guys are perfect for throwing on over your denim looks, sweater dresses, with leggings and more. Day or night – even over your workout wear! Think of them as your elevated puffer vest; just as warm and cozy, but a bit more chic.

As you can see, I have worn this piece dressed up or down, even over a leather jacket – for extra warmth.
This seasons version, over at Banana Republic (now an extra 40% off this weekend!) is a little less “outerweary” – which I actually like. They appear to have removed some of the bulk of last years style, making it all the more versatile.
