Taking advantage of last weeks promo over at Anthropologie, I added the Draped Morgan Trench by HeiHei to my closet.
Different than other pieces I own, it’s a great addition to the 3 summer weight jackets I already have. To me, this piece is much better in person. I love the drape, it can be cinched in or not at the waist, and the color is a pretty lavender tinted grey color. For reference, I bought my usual size small.
Knowing I would need a lightweight jacket in the evening, in the seaside town of Carmel last weekend, in the garment bag it went!
The perfect light-weight weight topper, for the evening chill on the coast.
Wanting to be comfortable, I paired it up with one of my favorite go-to pieces,
a convertible maxi skirt (worn here as a dress), by 3Dot.

I’ve worn this maxi so many ways; as a skirt, dress, belted, dressed up or down – a must have for any wardrobe!
Paul Green ‘Hana’ lace-up sandals, Anthropologie statement necklace, and a Vince Camuto hobo bag, complete this easy to wear look.
Ready for dinner and strolling the town.
Speaking of Anthropologie, the Anthropologie Tag Sale began Thursday. This piece is not on sale, but there are boatloads of new markdowns to check out and lots of repricing. You can check out my Anthro reviews in this post from last weekend, HERE.
Just how versatile, is a convertible maxi skirt?

A quick note: “Blogs I Read” has been added back onto Ask Suzanne Bell. This is a list of blogs I personally follow, not all, but regulars. This page automatically updates – whenever the author posts something new. Therefore the most current post lands at the top. My hope is that this new format makes it easy, so you don’t have to hunt around for your favorites. While you are here visiting, you can simply pop on over and see what’s new out in the world of blogging. Not all are fashion or style blogs, you may just find one you love!
