The best trend items come on early in the season over at Target. And like holiday decor, it’s gone from the stores when you actually need it. On my last visit to Target, I thought the top selection from WhoWhatWear and A New Day were spot on trend. I picked up two trend tops, at a fraction of the price. The shoe selection at Target is beginning to transition to spring and while you are there, you may want to add my new fave eyeliner, the Stay Perfect Amazing Eye Pencil from No 07 (Boots) into your cart – it glides on smooth and stays put all day long!
My tip for styling with Target pieces, don’t wear one trend head to toe. Pick a trend piece you love and mix it in with your high end pieces for a look that’s all your own. Today, I paired a navy tie front top (trend alert!) from WhoWhatWear with my FRAME baby bell crop jeans and silver Rachel Comey heeled loafers. I tried on 3 different shoes before settling on the loafer. You tell me, do you like the silver loafer or do you prefer the two tone slide or blue patent wedge? Let me know in the comments down below, I had a difficult time deciding myself!
I also picked up the Wrap Crew Luxe Pullover (under $20.00, linked below!)

Oh I definitely need mules! Thank you for the inspiration!
Hi Nancy! Thank you for stopping by! With so many mules out there right now (and more wearable than last season) the sky is the limit! I love them with cropped jeans right now!

SILVER SHOES ARE THE BEST……….than the slides………..ARE PLATFORMS STILL IN?I never pay attention to SHOES WITH HEELS being 5 foot 11 incHes!!!!!
Plus, I married a MAN shorter than ME!SO NO HEELS EVER!
THose silver Mules SPEAK TO ME!
THAT TOP looked amazing on YOU and I LOVE THE SWEATER!I never HIT TARGET ANYMORE!!!!!!!!It’s off MY RADAR……….better re-think THAT!
HAPPY VALENTINES DAY!

I too love metallic shoes, they go with everything! I have been on the hunt for a pair of gold block heel sandals for sometime now. I think platforms are still in, but like you I am tall. Not 5’11” but even at 5’7″ I feel REALLY TALL. I think that is why I don’t wear them often. I see them on other ladies and think they look great, but they are not really in my comfort zone. Note to self to not buy them in the future 🙂
I rarely go into target, especially now with Amazon prime taking care of of what I would go to target for. But on the occasion I do pop in, I always take a peek at what is new!
Thank you for dropping a comment and Happy Valentines Day to you as well!
xx

i like the silver mules.
Thank you Carole! Those were my favorite too! xx
LOVE how you made this look so chic. All the pieces you found I am crazy about. I have to get over to Taregt today! The wrap sweater is really cute too. You looked great in that navy top. Suzanne the silver shoes just made the whole outfit pop! Perfect. I have to look at those mules. I was contemplating the Gucci ones and those are almost as cute. xo
Thank you Kim! Yes, those mules do look like the GUcci ones…You could always get them and if you find you wear them to death, then invest in the real deal..just a thought!
I have been wearing those silver shoes a lot lately, they arae a great transition shoe!

I never find a thing at Target…in the minority here. Everyone I lnow loves the store but for me, its a miss.
I think many of the store’s shoes are adorable, but because my feet are very narrow with a high instep, the shoes dont fit properLy.
I have one shirt that I purchased there and love it—just my luck it was the last one so I could not buy multiples!!
Hi Cathe! Thanks for stopping by! Target for sure can be hit or miss, I totally agree. But when I do find something fun – that is of good quality for the price, I love to share! The shoes are not for everyone. I am on my feet all day long and so I am a stickler for comfort…Target is definitely trend OVER comfort, but if you want a little trend to spice things up it’s a win! xx Suzanne
Thanks for these shopping tips, Suzanne! Love, love the navy top with tie-front – fresh for spring. Thanks for linking up, xo
