I love summertime! The warm sunshine, long lazy days, walks on the beach along with the carefree vibe that comes with spending time with family and friends – just hanging out and feeling free.
Whether it’s heat or laziness that sets in, I find my beauty routine becomes pretty relaxed during these next few months.

This concealer is one I can’t live without! Why? It blends easily, doesn’t crease into fine lines, melt in the heat or flake – a winner in my book! The gals at Sephora are fantastic at finding your perfect shade. To me, it’s well worth the trip to the store, if you can, to get this one right. | $25.00 | Sephora
Anastasia Brow Duality pencil
A must have for me, this pencil is matte on one side and shimmery on the other. In a rush? I apply the matte side under my brow and a little of the shimmer side on the inner eye. Add quick coat of mascara – instant eye lift! $23.00 | Sephora
Guerlain Terracotta Bronzing Powder
For sun kissed skin try Terracotta. I’ve tried many a bronzing powder in my day and this is my all time favorite. Yes, it is pricey, but it lasts a really long time and you won’t look orange, #notagoodlook! This is another product that I wouldn’t guess on – have a professional help you pick the right shade for your skin-tone and how to correctly apply terra-cotta while you are there (this is key!). When it comes to bronzers there is a right and a wrong, best to take the steps to get it right!

Dry Shampoo
I hate the time it takes to wash and dry my hair, especially in the summertime. With dry shampoo, I can go 4 days easily, with no shampooing. Dry shampoo for me absorbs oil, adds volume and saves me time and energy!
Big Sexy Hair Volumizing Dry Shampoo for me added volume without the “powdery” feel of a dry shampoo | $9.90 | Amazon.com| Moroccanoil Dry Shampoo is great if you like the smell of Moroccanoil products and prefer a powdery finish. What is cool about this product is that it is tinted – so no powdery white finish. It allowed me go days without washing $23.00 | Amazon.com
Kerastase Volume in Powder
This is the only product that I have found, to create tousled hair, add volume and double as a dry shampoo, without any residue. It does smell strong initially, but I find it wears off quickly and doesn’t stay with me. I am sensitive to smell, so it may just be me. This is my must have product. It’s expensive, and I have yet to find a replacement for less – believe me, I have tried! $20-$37.00 | available in salons or at Kerastase.com
100 Proof Treatment Oil by Dry Bar
I have a girlfriend who is in the business of hair and swears by Dry Oil. A newer product on the market, she can’t get enough of 100 Proof Treatment Oil. This product claims to bring dry, dull hair back to life by creating shine and eliminate fizz/flyways. She reapplies this oil to her hair throughout the day, and I have to say her hair always looks fabulous!
