Pantone’s 2017 Color of the Year!
Hmmm…thoughts?
Maybe your feeling a little skeptical, of this new chartreuse green color?
Let’s take a closer look!
Some like it, others not so much. Personally, I love almost any shade of green! I may not wear greenery (too yellow!) up close to my face, or tote around a green handbag or shoes – but as an accent – in prints, accessories, as a statement piece, and home decor…I think it looks fresh and new. Peridot, my favorite gemstone, should be pretty easy to find this year! On a side note, I really disliked last years pairing of Rose Quartz and Serenity (ick!),
but I liked how it lead to a surge in rose gold, dusty pink and nude color tones in 2016. Greenery is fresh and new, and happens to look great with rose quartz.
How refreshing is this month’s cover of Vogue.
It grabbed my attention, as I own a very similar dress from TopShop,
which I can’t wait to wear – if it ever stops raining!
In the home, I think the color is gorgeous when paired with black and white.
You can read more on Greenery, on Pantone’s Website (HERE)
Greenery is a beautiful accent color, so naturally I love how it looks in accessories.
Oh how I love those Tory Burch sunnies, and can we talk about those TopShop jaquard mules?
Razzmatazz…I just like saying the name!
A few other pieces, that could easily work into your wardrobe this spring.
Let’s Talk!
What are your thoughts?
Do you like greenery?
Will you go big with green this year, wear it as an accent…or pass entirely?
Drop your comments down below, and have a fabulous week!
XOXO
Suzanne

I adore the newly featured colors for home decor, but not so much for my clothing – I like olive green for that. Thanks for this feature, and for linking up to Vis Monday! xo
