Welcome to What I Wore This Week, where you’ll find a compilation outfits I wore over of the past week. Look, I certainly don’t have it all figured out, but I hope by sharing what I’ve pulled together, you’ll find some inspiration to create a few fresh new looks – a jumpstart to your own outfit planning. Most items are from pieces found in my closet, but if a piece is current or I find a similar version of what I’m wearing I will link it for you. If you have questions or comments, drop me a line in the comments section at the very bottom of this post. Have a fabulous weekend friends!

Monday
Todays look was all about function. The temps were cold, and I was going to be in and out of homes and my car, for most of the day. When I’m on the move, I love this cozy ribbed cashmere midi skirt (SIMILAR HERE | HERE). Today I paired the skirt with a simple plaid tee from Zara ($19.99!), added (THIS EXACT or SIMILAR) balloon sleeve cardigan for warmth. A simple stretch belt provided some needed waist definition. Tights and booties finished off the look.
Tuesday
My plaid pants made a second appearance this week (details on the plaid pant look HERE), at yet another festive ladies luncheon and shopping boutique. After rushing the kids around after school, I made a quick switch-up and headed to a holiday party for Women Entrepreneurs (WELA), a groups of which I am on the Advisory Board. My gold JCrew satin skirt is a piece I look forward to bringing out during the holidays, paired with a lace tank (D&G thrifted), ruffle suede pumps and a furry bomber (DVF, older style).
Um, can we talk about these rhinestone cat eye readers? I swiped them off my friend Anne’s face, to snap a photo for you all. Yes, I ordered them as soon as I got home, in black. Pictured here in tortoise and now on sale for $12.99 (HERE)
Wednesday
Monday’s plaid tee got a second go, styled here with Tuesday’s faux fur DVF bomber, wide leg crop jeans (CInq a Sept), sock booties (Stella McCartney) and All Saints Hobo Bag (SIMILAR, HERE)
Thursday
Today’s look was something I wore to a VIP Holiday Party at Bliss Beauty. I knew it could be warm indoors (like many holiday gatherings are), making the 3/4 sleeve was a good choice. This dress was a crazy cheap thrift find, a sweater dress that I found on clearance at ThredUp in the middle of summer. Vintage Nanette Lepore, I paired it with my grey suede boots and tights as I knew I would be standing; thus the need for comfortable shoes. A simple gold bracelet stack and black cape allowed the beauty of the dress to shine.
