Summertime.
From longer days spent outdoors, carefree unscheduled time with the family, long dinners al fresco, to beach time and long nighttime walks – though my work schedule is the same, things are just a bit more simple during the summer months. This past Labor Day was just that; time spent with friends on the coast – lazy days spent in the sun, beach bonfires, BBQ all day long, long talks and walks- even a fun summertime festival in Capitola.

So what does it all go to hell in a hand basket, as soon as the school year starts up?
Over this past summer, friend, life coach, and blogger Kanesha Baynard of Bold Living Today, published a great post titled Shifting Internal Conversations; thoughts on how to stay productive, connected, fruitful and fun – year round. For the full post, click HERE.
Inspired by her post, upon reflection; I came up with a few goals of my own, as we move into this new school year.
Prioritize. Not just making a list – but shifting what is important to my family and myself, straight up to the top.
Say “no” to things I feel I “should” vs “want” to do (this is a big one for me!)
Focus on people that bring me joy, and do what makes me happy.
A decluttered home = clear mind
Taking time to enjoy the everyday.
How do you stay in the moment?
Do you find your mindset shifts to stress, as soon as the school year begins?
How do you achieve balance in your life?
Here’s to a fabulous fall season!
