If you are looking to elevate your look this season, consider a plaid boyfriend blazer. An 80’s throwback, this wardrobe wonder is being styled by bloggers in new ways that look fresh and new. Consider replacing your everyday cardigan or denim jacket with a blazer, and hear the compliments roll in.
Today, I’ve rounded up looks from 4 of my favorite bloggers, along with a few looks of my own, to show just how versatile a boyfriend blazer can be! I follow each of these ladies and you should too! I’ve added links by their names to their Instagram Accounts and Blogs if you would like to pay them a visit.

Hi Emma! With how this piece is trending, I am sure there will be so many to choose from. Keep up the search and hold out for your perfect mate! Truth be told, I didn’t realize when I purchased mine and H & M, just how much I would wear it! THanks for stopping by and have a wonderful weekend! xx
Wow! Loved how each of you styled your boyfriend blazers. Last year I purchased a mans glen plaid blazer fRom a consignment sHop for five bucks. This post has inspired me with so many styling OPTIONs TO CHOOSE FROM!
$5.00 Cynthia? What a score. YOu and Michelle both:) I think the second hand market is a fabulous place to find a unique piece. THese blazers were so popular in the late 80’s and early 90’s. I remember as a retail buyer at nordstrom, buying these from vendors who sold 2nd hand menswear blazers and denim – for resale…we couldn’t keep them in stock. I am sure those pieces are all out there roaming the second hand market to be found today 🙂 Have fun styling, I love how each of these women styled their looks, in their own ways! Have a wonderful weekend! xx
What a lovely COLLABORAtion! You all look great and the blazers are very stylish and on trend!
Thank you Nancy! It was fun to put it together. These ladies each have such great personal style, I’m happy to be able to feature them and show the versatility of this piece! xx Suzanne
Cute looks. I love a plaid blazer for fall. Just always looks so bookish and COLLEGIATE to me. I am loving wearing mine with chunky sweaters and jeans and loafers or with a cute T-shirt like you Suzanne! I think you should get that Trina one. xx Kim
Hi Kim! I think they look so fresh and new. It’s been awhile since I’e worn one, but now with all the options, I may need two! Thanks for stopping by! xx
Oh and I love the idea of a chunky sweater and loafers, you have the best styling tips!
Hi, Suzanne

I love collaborating with other bloggers as we each have our own style and personality, and I know I love seeing looks on all body types and ages. You are so lucky to have a piece passed down to you. Oh how I wish I had saved mine. Have fun styling it this season! xx
