Good morning friends and welcome to What I Wore Wednesday. Lately, I’ve found myself drawn to skirts – especially ones I can throw on with a pair of sandals or sneakers. And when I came across this aboriginal snake print by artist W. Evans, I couldn’t wait to add it to my collection. A printed piece such as this can become a wardrobe workhorse if the colors speak to you, as this midi skirt did to me. To allow the skirt to speak for herself, I kept the rest of my outfit simple; a black tee tied at the waist + metallic accessories.
ASB STYLE TIP:
In order to “control the fullness” of a voluminous piece on the bottom, keep your top half more fitted. Belting the skirt or tying your top in a knot will enhance your figure and create a balanced look.

Cute skirt Suzanne. I am really looking forward to spring and wearing something besides pants! Love your details here too. Have a great weekend. xo
Hi Kim, Same here. I am really drawn to skirts and dresses right now. Perhaps because I have spent most of the past year in joggers or jeans – time to switch things up! Hope you had a wonderful weekend!
xx Suzanne
Suzanne, this skirt is absolutely magnificent! I agree that styling a midi skirt can be a little tricky…you definitely need something more fitted on top. That tie waist tee is really cool! Beautiful outfit, my friend!
