Trending since last winter, and not appearing to be slowing down anytime soon, are blanket scarves.
Anyone recall, this impossible-to-get-your-hands-on version, via Zara, last winter?

Seen on every fashion, and street blogger – an Instagram fave:

You no longer need to scour eBay, to get your hands on one, they are everywhere this season. Available, in every color combo you can think of, at every price. However, if you’d like an eBay knock off , 306 to be exact, you can find ’em all HERE.
Blanket scarves have already begun to hit the sale racks, and in the next 2 weeks, there will be more – as retailers clear out, their holiday merchandise.
I love these from Joules
Heyford Oversized Woven Scarf | $52.95
Madewell
Blanket Scarf | (now 20% off) $44.63 | Nordstrom
Burberry
Hey, a girl can dream, right?
Target
white and red blanket scarf, now $14.00
Lands End
oversized square scarf, $34.00
I have a few plaid blanket scarves, that I wear often.
When asked how I store mine?
I simply hang them like pants – on hangers.
Where I can see them, and keep them, in an unwrinkled state – ready to wear.
Here’s a look at how I’ve been wearing mine lately:
faux leather leggings | booties |sweater tunic.
flare jeans | sweater jacket | booties
skinny jeans |boot toppers (how to make your own, HERE) | THE eBay scarf
straight leg jeans | cashmere poncho | animal print satchel
Don’t be afraid, to mix print, with pattern!
Though still a large square, this one, from Eileen Fisher, is a bit thinner.
Which allows me to wear it, in a basic loop knot.
or in a triangle fold (see how-to below).
Blanket scarves are actually simple to wear, once you get the hang of tying them, in a way that doesn’t feel like, you are wrapped in a blanket!
Last year, I put together a scarf tying guide, for AskSuzanneBell.

Anyone else love scarves?
In addition to providing warmth, they add a pop of pattern and color to any outfit – up close to your face.
It’s sure to brighten up any outfit, on any day!
