For all my boho friends out there, today’s must-have piece is one that will keep your unconventional style heart singing all summer long. Reminiscent of summertime festivals (they WILL return someday), I love the carefree feeling I get when I wear a Gypsy Skirt. Dress her up or down, at the lake or on the patio, I’ve linked up a few pretties (and accessories!) for you to browse along with the link to my FAVORITE Bohemian Home Book, at the end of today’s style post.

“And those who were seen dancing were thought to be insane by those who could not hear the music.” ― Friedrich Nietzsche

A dime a dozen in European Street Markets, Gypsy Skirts like mine are often made in India, and tend to be “one-size fits most”. Knowing I would not be visiting a lively Italian Street Market anytime soon, I was thrilled to discover a skirt that spoke to me at Chateau Bel Age in San Diego. Best Part? She adorned with silver SEQUINS!

    1. Hi Eva! So happy you stopped by today. I just checked out your site and blog – what fun you are having over there! I look forward to following your journey and learning more about what you are up to!

As far as my skirt, it was called a gypsy skirt, but yes, I think you could also call it a prarie skirt – I had one of those in the 80’s! And the back drop, it is the West SHore – the view behind me is RUbicon Bay. we are very close to Tahoma – up on the hill. Wish I was still there, it was so peaceful while we where staying there. But alas, work called! And yes! If you know anyone looking to buy or sell in the Bay Area – I’d love to speak to them! xx Suzanne
